You’ve probably heard that 1 in 150 children could have some form of autism. What you may not know is that 1 in every 8 children has some form of developmental delay.

Some Delays could be as small as being late for a milestone like taking a first step. Other delays could be the sign of serious conditions like autism. There are things you can do that may help. We hope this sight can give you the tools you need to make informed choices about your child’s health.

The Autism Diagnosis Education Pilot Program (ADEPP) was created through a grant from the Ohio Department of Health to help families, physicians, and those who care for children with developmental delays. ADEPP developed a first of its kind approach that improves the capacity to screen and diagnose, using existing resources and relationships.
