The Ohio Pediatricians Political Action Committee (OPPAC) is a necessary tool to influence important public policy decisions. Contributions raised through OPPAC are used to support elected officials who understand and support the public policy positions of Ohio's pediatricians.

With your contribution, the leadership and legislative committee of the Ohio Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics will continue to build important relationships with key public policy officials in the Ohio House of Representatives, Ohio Senate, and the state's administrative offices.

The Ohio Pediatricians PAC decides how contributions received would be most appropriately distributed to members of all political parties. The PAC traditionally focuses contributions to like-minded members of leadership, as well as members of the healthcare and insurance related committees.

Here are ways you can stand behind Ohio's children:

Donate. Make an investment in Ohio's children through your contribution to the Ohio Pediatricians PAC.
Advocate. If you are willing to be on the Legislative Committee for the Ohio AAP, you will affect the lives of children by serving as a decision-maker when the chapter debates legislative issues.
Contact Legislators. If you are willing to contact your legislators when issues arise, you will be notified when you can take action. Training opportunities in this area will be made available to you if you are interested.
Voice to Media. If you are willing to contact the media, training opportunities in this area will be made available to you.
